Bubble wrap is for fragile items such as glass and porcelain. When stacking, place them on their edges, not flat. Wrap with the bubble side facing inwards. Labels, mattress bags, tape
Packing labels keep you from hunting for a toothbrush. A mattress bag keeps the mattress clean; ask beforehand whether the company provides it. When getting tape, the cheapest tape is probably not sticky enough. Start taping from halfway up the box, tape the sides where flaps meet, and for heavier boxes tape in a criss-cross manner.
